Addis Ababa, February 11, 2008 (Addis Ababa) - The Ethiopian Democratic Union (EDU) said it has finalized the recruitment of its candidates who would compete in the forthcoming national by-election and local election.

According to a press statement it sent to ENA on Monday, the party has also concluded getting its candidates evaluated.

EDU has begun getting registered its candidates who would compete in the elections in Addis Ababa City administration, Tigray and South Ethiopia Peoples states, the statement said.
